Search Interface (How to Use Textpresso) News & Messages
Enter keyword(s) and/or category/ies. Selecting categories for a query makes a search more specific. For example, you can retrieve sentences that contain the word HSN and a C. elegans gene name by typing the keyword 'HSN' and choosing the category 'gene (C. elegans)'. A category hit occurs when a particular word or phrase in the sentence is defined as a member of a particular category. Categories will be concatenated by a Boolean 'and' operation to other categories and keyword(s) if present. To search for terms in categories, click on the Categories/Ontology link above.

Categories
This database contains searchable abstracts and/or full text from a wide range of publications in the site-specific recombinase literature. It includes publications in which site specific recombinases are used as a research tool (for example, mouse strains that express Cre recombinase) as well as studies that define the properties of the recombinases themselves. Publications in the database describe site-specific recombinase research tools in use in the mouse, Drosophila, Dictyostelium and E. coli. We have also included many publications that describe the use of recombinases for molecular cloning. It is our goal to make this database broad and inclusive and we would appreciate input from users about publications that should be added. The database will be updated frequently.
