This database contains searchable abstracts and/or full text from a wide range of publications in the site-specific recombinase literature. It includes publications in which site specific recombinases are used as a research tool (for example, mouse strains that express Cre recombinase) as well as studies that define the properties of the recombinases themselves. Publications in the database describe site-specific recombinase research tools in use in the mouse, Drosophila, Dictyostelium and E. coli. We have also included many publications that describe the use of recombinases for molecular cloning. It is our goal to make this database broad and inclusive and we would appreciate input from users about publications that should be added.

Please note: The publication database is not being updated.
